Rachel Self is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is from San Angelo Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Angelo State University in 1999 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 2008. She discovered early in her career that most medical treatments are focused on chronic illness management and not on prevention or promotion of health.
Ten years ago, Rachel found her passion while attending an integrative medical conference. Soon after that she started working to help her patients reclaim their health through the cutting-edge practices of integrative and functional medicine. Rachel is certified in Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, Hormone pellet placement and Medical Weight loss treatment. In her personal life, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, staying fit with hot yoga, and traveling with friends.
