Jennifer Slencak, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer began her nursing career after graduating from St. Vincent Health Center School of Nursing in Erie, PA in 1998. She later attended Chamberlain University to earn a Master of Science degree in Nursing where she graduated with high distinction in 2018. She has worked as a family nurse practitioner for the past four years.
Early in her nursing career, Jennifer was mentored by two premier physicians in integrative & functional medicine. While working with them for several years, she helped them build specialized outpatient integrative practices. Later, she worked as a family nurse practitioner under the mentorship of another physician in an integrative family medicine practice in north Texas.
Jennifer’s approach to caring for patients focuses on the promotion of health and well-being. She strives to spend time with her patients getting to know them and their individual health care needs. Jennifer’s special interests include wellness and disease prevention through hormone management and supplementation.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), North Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
When she is not caring for patients, Jennifer likes to participate in outdoor activities such as hiking and travelling to new and interesting places with her husband of 25 years. She also enjoys spending time with her grandsons and three dogs.
